Innsbruck University Network on Climate & Cryospheric Research (ICCR)

Different groups working at the University of Innsbruck cover a wide field of research related to snow, ice and climate. Worldwide changes of glaciers and climate in different time scales as well as short term energy, ice, and water balances are investigated. Methods cover a wide range including field experiments, advanced remote sensing techniques and modelling in different scales of time and space and study sites are to be found in polar, mid latitude, and tropical ice masses.
